1. WHAT IT IS...
- The UK Indies Pavilion offers first class business and promotional
facilities for participating companies.
- A whole package of
benefits are available including pre-market briefings with
international rights experts, reduced market accreditation with Reed
Midem, invitations to networking receptions/parties, and full profiles
on the cutting-edge UK Indies Website. For full details please see section 2 below.
- Participating
companies use the facility for a variety of different business
objectives including: selling completed programmes, arranging
pre-sales, finding co-production partners, exploiting formats and
concepts, raising finance and networking.
- At Mipcom 07 an estimated £16m+ of business was generated by participating companies.
- The pavilion can
accommodate up to 35 content producers and rights holders, from across
the UK who have not exhibited at Miptv/Mipcom in their own right
before. Companies based in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, London,
North West, South East and the South West will be eligible for a subsidised
participation rate, thanks to the support of their regional screen
agency.

3. TAP GRANTS...
- Pact operates the Tradeshow Access Programme (Tap)
grant scheme on behalf of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).
- The
majority of companies participating on the pavilion at previous markets were eligible to claim a grant, ensuring the pavilion
was an extremely cost effective vehicle to get to market.
