Conrad is Pact’s senior lawyer, with responsibility for negotiating scripted TV terms with Bectu.
Conrad is also responsible for Pact’s template contracts and for general production advice, both scripted and non-scripted, and provides employment law advice and advice on HMRC rules for behind the camera workers.
He trained as a lawyer in the City with Field Fisher Waterhouse, and post qualification worked at Denton Wilde Sapte.
In 2003 Conrad began advising in relation to television, initially working on contracts for Jamie Oliver while at Dentons before moving to the independent production company RDF Television. He also worked for Talkback Thames as lawyer on X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and The Apprentice before joining Pact in 2015.
