This online Pact event with Mint & Co will provide an introductory look into the main clauses and considerations for location, contributor, talent, crew and standard paid development agreements.
The seminar will cover:
- Development Agreements: when are they used? What are their terms, their applications and their negotiables?
- Release forms:
- Location releases: key clauses and when to use an access agreement instead
- Material releases: key clauses and understanding an exclusive/non-exclusive licence vs an assignment
- Contributor releases: key clauses and additional considerations when the contributor is a minor
- Presenter Agreement: key clauses and looking specifically at exclusivity and further series options.
- Ensuring your releases/contracts are suitable when working with brands
- Creative Diversity Network & project Diamond, producer responsibilities
- Case Study: a presenter agreement for an entertainment programme - requested agent changes and push-backs.
There will also be time for Q&A at the end.
