Respect at Work: Tackling Bullying and Harassment in Production

This interactive workshop is tailored for leaders and managers, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to address toxic workplace behaviours effectively.

Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of discrimination, harassment and bullying grounded in the Equality Act 2010. Additionally, the workshop covers the latest legal updates, including the changes to sexual harassment laws affecting all businesses as of October 2024. But this isn’t just about understanding the law – it’s about applying practical, real-world solutions in the workplace.

The session explores the full spectrum of misconduct, from microaggressions to more severe complaints, and examines the nuances of intent versus impact. Attendees will learn how to assess complaints accurately and determine the most appropriate course of action, whether that involves informal resolution, coaching, mediation or escalation to a formal grievance.

This event is open to leaders of UK-based independent production companies.
