(1 of 2)

Learn to understand the different types of neurodivergence and the benefits that can be harnessed when you have neurodiverse (ND) people in the workplace during this free online session supported by the BBC.

Join us for the first of two sessions on neurodiversity.

In this session, we'll provide an introduction to the different types of neurodivergence and how they affect neurodiverse (ND) people. Plus, what are the benefits that can be harnessed in the workplace?

The key elements that will be covered are:

  • Social vs Medical model of disability
  • Evolution of neurodiversity
  • Types of neurodiversity
  • Traits of neurodivergence
  • Sensory differences
  • Masking

This is a free event open to anyone working in the independent production sector, supported by the BBC.

You can also register for the second session, which will develop upon this first session and explore representations of neurodiversity in the media, reasonable adjustments and accessible communications.
