Membership Application
& Renewal
Companies may join, and renew membership of, Pact online by providing certain information (including but not limited to annual accounts, and annual company turnover). We will store this information on our database in line with our privacy policy.
Users With
Administration Privileges
When renewing membership of Pact, those individuals who have been given administration privileges when their contact account was created will see a pre-populated renewal form.
Company membership details (including company contacts and their email addresses) and subscription history will be available on the MyPact portal of contacts from a member organisation that have been granted the appropriate administration privileges when their contact account was created.
Users with administration privileges can:
- add and remove other contacts at their organisation;
- grant and remove administration rights for other contacts at their organisation. When adding a user, they will give Pact their name, email address and job title which will sign them up for Pact’s newsletter;
- update the company’s entry (including company name, website address, logo, short company profile, genre and areas of business) in the Find a Member and Find a Professional databases on Pact’s website.
Registration
Users will be able to register for an account, and register a production, online with Pact.
On account registration, the user will be asked to provide their email address, name and job title. We will store this information on our database in line with our privacy policy.
When registering a production the user will also provide the name and contact details of the main contact for the production, along with production details including budget information and a cast list. We will store this information on our database in line with our privacy policy.
Pact’s integrated events booking system allows users to book themselves and others at their organisation onto events. This information will be stored in our database in line with our privacy policy.
You accept responsibility for all activities which occur under your account or password if any, and you agree you will not transfer/ assign or sell your membership or membership rights without prior written approval in advance by Pact. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and membership information, if any, and for restricting access to your computers so that your information is protected. Pact reserves the right to terminate membership and/ or deny access to the website to any person at its sole discretion.
If we have reason to believe there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the website through your account or the use of your password, we may notify you and require you to change your password, or we may suspend or terminate your account.
Law &
Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK. Information contained on this website may not be appropriate for use in other locations and access to this website from territories where the content of this website may be illegal is strictly prohibited. By using this website you are solely responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. By your use you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the law of England and the English courts for any cause arising in and to the Terms and use of this website.
