They represent a combined view of best practice in seeking to ensure compliance with the Bribery Act when working in the production field.

The APC Code of Practice outlines the submission of film and programme proposals for the UK film, radio, podcast, digital and television industry. This note gives a brief summary of the Bribery Act. It explains the offences under the Act, one of which is corporate liability. This flow chart explains the UK legislation and EU Directive on interest rates which can be accrued as well as recovery costs on late payments for services. If the broadcaster is publically funded the production company providing the service can rely on the EU Directive, if the broadcaster is a private company you can rely on the current UK legislation which is very similar in nature.
