Access agreement (Rights)

This Agreement is to be used when a production company grants or assigns rights to third parties. It should be signed by the relevant third party or successor in title (usually a distributor) so that all continuing obligations to report, remit and pay Equity artists transfer to the third party.

This is a co-production agreement template which can be tailored to your company's needs when contracting a co-producer for a project.

This is an agreement to allow a Company to use material/footage which is owned and controlled by you, the Production Company, and allows the person who wishes to access it to use it within a programme/project. It is a non exclusive licence to use material/content in all media for a fee. A non exclusive licence grants the Licensee the right to use material/content in the manner which you agree with them, but the copyright remains with the owner (i.e. it is exclusively for their use and you can license to other third parties).

This will be issued when companies want to use the services of individuals to develop projects for the purposes of obtaining commissions from broadcasters and or financiers.

For programmes commissioned from 15 August 2016 (and by arrangement some programmes before that date), Producers will input perceived data about individuals appearing in the programmes into Diamond at the delivery stage as well as encouraging those in front of and behind the camera to participate in the gathering of actual data by allowing their emails to be input so that they can be contacted by the Diamond system. In order to achieve this in accordance with the law, Pact and the broadcasters have taken advice on what wording must be included in release forms; contributor agreements; staff contracts; and all other agreements for those either appearing in or making a programme.
