Jane Muirhead, Managing Director, Raise the Roof Productions re-appointed Pact Chair
Pact has today announced the re-appointment of Raise the Roof Productions’ Jane Muirhead as Pact Chair for the next two years. Jane was uncontested as Chair during the recent Pact Council elections. Additionally, 11 Council Members have been elected to Pact Council for the same period.
Jane was appointed as Pact Chair at the end of 2022 and has served an initial two-year period. Jane is co-founder and MD of Glasgow based Raise the Roof Productions. The company has delivered over 1000 hours of network TV and sold to numerous countries worldwide with top titles including Kirstie and Phil’s Love it or List it. Under Jane’s leadership, staff wellbeing and career development form the pillars of the company ethos, and Raise the Roof has featured in the top 20 Broadcast Best Places to Work in TV in 2017, 18 and 19 and in the top 10 in subsequent years.

Commenting on the appointments, Pact Chief Executive, John McVay, OBE said: “I’m very pleased that Jane will be continuing as Pact Chair for a further two years to help indies weather the current industry challenges.
“I also welcome the new Pact Council made up of old and new faces with whom I look forward to working with to navigate the continuing uncertainty the sector faces over the next few years.”

Pact Council oversees the work of the trade body, signing off budgets and financial plans, as well as agreeing the organisation’s policies, campaigns, terms of trade and collective agreements.
The elected Council members will serve a two-year term, running from January 2025 to December 2026.
